The aggressive cutting effect of the ceramic grain and grinding additives in the coating make these tools ideal for machining high-alloy, rust- and acid-resistant steels (INOX), titanium, nickel-based alloys and extremely hard workpiece surfaces (e.g. mill scale).<\/p>\n<p>When belt grinding, you can achieve the highest surface quality on workpieces using sanding belts with ceramic grain, while at the same time keeping the heat load very low. This results from the special structure of the sanding belts with ceramic grain, which use special sanding additives to achieve a particularly cool grind.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Continuous peak performance<\/strong><br \/>\nContinuous high-performance processes through optimal utilization of the sanding belt. A particular advantage is that the ceramic grain sharpens itself over and over again during belt grinding and thus retains its aggressiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Highest removal performance<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ceramic grain almost completely prevents the sanding belt from clogging. Additional grinding additives make a decisive contribution to the highest possible removal rate and a long service life of the sanding belt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Maximum cost minimization<\/strong><br \/>\nSaving work steps and thus labor costs through faster processing of workpieces while improving the surface quality justify the use of sanding belts with ceramic grain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cooler cut<\/strong><br \/>\nOn poorly heat-conducting materials, the sanding belt with ceramic grain guarantees optimal sanding results without thermal material damage to the workpiece.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Picard tip: Choosing the right contact disc<\/strong><br \/>\nThe use of sanding belts with ceramic grain should always be done in conjunction with the correct contact wheel.
