Polishing grain is applied to the surface of the felt belts in the form of solid or liquid polishing pastes or polishing emulsions and retained in the dense fiber structure. If the technical felt is selected correctly, temperatures of up to 700\u00b0C can occur during the processing process without this having any influence on the felt strip. With felt tapes, roughness depths in the \u00b5 range are possible in practical use on workpieces.Always use the FAPI-SHINE felt roller at a slower speed than a tool with abrasive cloth.
