In the FAPI-KS/V FREQUENZGEDÄMPFT contact disc, the aluminum core is covered with constant-width Vulkollan® slats at precisely defined intervals, with plastic foam slats inserted in the gaps.
The height of the covering or the length of the slats made of Vulkollan® and plastic foam can be selected variably depending on the application (standard: 25 mm). Due to the position of the slats, the howling tones in the upper frequency range are dampened in the contact wheel coating during grinding, so that they are no longer audible to the human ear. The FAPI-KS/V frequency-damped contact discs achieve a significant reduction in the noise level in the workplace and thus contribute to occupational safety.The contact disks of the FAPI-KS/V series are extremely aggressive contact disks due to their construction with slats made of Vulkollan® and plastic foam.Advantages of contact discs with this structure:
