This is usually because the band saw blade has worn into the surface.A new coating of the band saw wheel is inevitable. Two types of covering are available: Vulkollan®, a highly abrasion-resistant elastomer patented by Bayer, or, as an alternative, a rubber covering.Depending on the band saw machine manufacturer, the covering can be produced with a straight or convex surface. With the crowned version, the band saw blade automatically centers itself in the middle. With the straight version, the band saw blade must be adjusted manually or, on newer band saw machines, automatically.We manufacture according to drawings or specifications.
