In the FAPI-KS/V contact disc, the aluminum core is alternately covered with slats made of Vulkollan® and plastic foam. While the width of the Vulkollan® slats should be constant, the width of the plastic foam slats can be varied. The wider the plastic foam lamella, the more aggressive the contact disk becomes.
The height of the covering or the length of the Vulkollan® and plastic foam slats can be selected variably depending on the application (standard: 25 mm). If the slats are too long, the material loses its rigidity, which ultimately reduces the aggressiveness of the contact disk.The contact disks of the FAPI-KS/V series are extremely aggressive contact disks due to their construction with slats made of Vulkollan® and plastic foam.Advantages of contact discs with this structure:
