In the FAPI-KS/V SPEZIAL contact disc, the aluminum core is covered with constant-width Vulkollan® slats at different angles, with plastic foam slats inserted in the gaps. The angle-changing slats also achieve better stability of the contact disk.
The height of the covering or the length of the slats made of Vulkollan® and plastic foam can be selected variably depending on the application (standard: 25 mm). If the slats are too long, the rigidity of the material is lost, which ultimately reduces the aggressiveness of the contact disk.The contact disks of the FAPI-KS/V series are extremely aggressive contact disks due to their construction with slats made of Vulkollan® and plastic foam.Advantages of contact discs with this structure:
