In the FAPI-PUS/KS FREQUENZGEDÄMPFT contact disc, the aluminum core is covered with constantly wide polyurethane foam lamellae at precisely defined intervals, with plastic foam lamellae inserted in the gaps.

The height of the covering or the length of the polyurethane foam and plastic foam slats can be chosen variably depending on the application.

Due to the position of the slats, the howling tones in the upper frequency range are dampened in the contact wheel coating during grinding, so that they are no longer audible to the human ear.
