Our abrasive fleece belts are a three-dimensional abrasive made of nylon fleece that is interspersed with abrasive grain. Thanks to different grain sizes and different carrier materials, it is ideal for processing almost all surfaces and guarantees a sophisticated surface finish in the processing process.
Our non-woven abrasive belts are ideal for the fine machining of all types of materials. Non-woven abrasive belts are used to clean light oxidation and rust on metal surfaces, to satinize metal surfaces and to finish stainless steel and painted surfaces. Abrasive fleece belts are used, for example, in structural grinding on coils or sheets, in the fine grinding of turbine blades or in container construction.Basically, nonwoven products can be divided into two application categories:
- Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) abrasive fleece belts
Abrasive fleece belts that are interspersed with Al2O3 are mainly used in the processing of metals and woodworking.
- Silicon carbide (SiC) abrasive fleece belts
Abrasive fleece belts that are interspersed with SiC are primarily used when processing painted surfaces and in plastic processing. In the area of stainless steel processing, they are used when a reflective surface finish is to be achieved.
