The FAPI-PUS OPEN contact disc is a further development of the sealed version. In the open version, the aluminum core is alternately provided with a long and short polyurethane foam lamella.
The overall height of the covering can also be adapted to the respective application and can therefore be selected variably (standard: 20 mm and 35 mm).
Thanks to the open design variant, the grinding belt can be cooled better and the heat from the belt grinding process is better dissipated. By precisely adapting the very soft running pad to the workpiece to be ground, high-performance processes in the fine grinding area are possible.The contact disks of the FAPI-PUS series are exclusively covered with polyurethane foam slats.Advantages of contact discs with polyurethane foam slats:
