The FAPI-VUS/KS contact disc is a variant with a slat covering made of foamed Vulkollan® and plastic foam.
The total height of the covering can also be selected variably depending on the respective application.
The contact discs are particularly soft and cuddly thanks to the alternating slats made of foamed Vulkollan® and plastic foam.
In practice, this contact wheel is mainly used for fine grinding of slightly curved or rounded workpieces. Due to the different densities of the material, the heat is dissipated very well during the grinding process.
