With the FAPI-ADBRUSH disc brushes, the trim material is cast into the carrier body of the disc brush using a special adhesive technology.
In contrast to inserting/pressing the filling material into prefabricated holes – as is done in standard production – a much denser brush structure can be achieved with the FAPI-AD(hesive)BRUSH disc brush. The FAPI-ADBRUSH disc brushes are particularly used in “wet” machining processes.
- Highest surface quality
When using our FAPI-ADBRUSH disc brushes, the highest surface quality of the workpieces after the deburring process and the shortest possible processing times are required. The FAPI-ADBRUSH disc brush meets these requirements at all times and thus improves the “deburring” processing process.
- Longest service life
Due to the very dense coating that can be achieved with the adhesive technology method, the service life of our FAPI-ADBRUSH disc brushes is extended many times over. This achieves both a reduction in unit costs and a reduction in set-up costs for the deburring process to be carried out.
- A wide variety of areas of application
The FAPI-ADBRUSH disc brushes are used for deburring in operational practice on a very wide range of products. Workpieces made from a wide variety of materials with a wide variety of geometries are processed. In particular, the very uniform edge rounding on mainly flat surfaces is achieved by the FAPI-ADBRUSH disc brush in the automotive industry (engine blocks, cylinder heads, etc.), in the metal processing industry (stamped and pressed parts, sintered parts, die-cast parts, etc.) and in the aerospace industry. and space industry (hydraulic parts, pneumatic parts, sealing surfaces, etc.).
- Highest bristle quality
In order to meet the requirement of providing our customers with high-performance tools for their machining processes, we only use high-quality trimming material to produce our FAPI-ADBRUSH disc brushes. Highly abrasive grinding bristles with aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, ceramic and diamond grain are available.
